
The Chancel Choir is open to senior high youth and adults and is the main choral ensemble providing music and worship leadership every week at the 10:30 am sanctuary service. The choir also presents musical programs each year as part of the Celebrate the Arts concert series. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Chancel Choir Section Leaders
Our quartet of section leaders has been selected for the current program year. You’ve already seen them in worship, but some background about each them is below. Please show them your appreciation when you get a chance. We are grateful that they are singing with us!
Lindsey Sanders, soprano, is 24 years old from Acworth, Georgia. She is in her final year at Kennesaw State University earning a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education and Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After graduation, she hopes to be a high school choir director. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and playing with her dog, Leia. Lindsey has been the soprano section leader at Saint Luke’s since January of 2019 and loves getting to make music with everyone!
Morgan Potts, alto, is currently a Sophomore at Kennesaw State University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She is a Mezzo-Soprano and will be singing Alto in the choir. Morgan grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia with her parents, three older sisters, and three crazy dogs. Morgan’s love for singing sparked at her church growing up. One of her favorite things to do is play board games with her family. She is beyond excited to sing with Saint Luke’s Presbyterian Church!
Clarence Bell, bass, graduated from Virginia State University, majoring in Music Education with a concentration in Voice. He is a graduate of Prince George High School in Prince George, Va., where he graduated with an advanced studies diploma. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Petersburg, Va., where he was active in the life of the church. He was the choir director of the mass and young adult choirs and was active in the musical community throughout the tri-cities area. Clarence is currently working on a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance studying in the studio of Kathryn Hartgrove and Choral Conducting.
Amos Warren III, tenor, is from Beverly Hills, MI and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Master of Music in Opera Theater. In 2015, he earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Western Michigan University. He was an Emerging Artist with Opera Grand Rapids. Amos currently resides in Loganville, Georgia. Previous credits include King Kaspar (Amahl and and the Night Vistors), Ubaldo (Armida), Le Comte Barigoule (Cendrillon), Il Podestà (La finta giardiniera). His most recently performance was with Washington Street United Methodist Church’s annual Sing-A-Long Messiah as the Tenor Soloist.
