Library

Saint Luke’s has a beautiful library with over 3000 books that will inspire your Christian Faith!  Our books fall in many different categories such as:

– Bible Study
– Theology
– Christian Living
– Prayer
– Devotions
– Biographies
– Non-Fiction
– Fiction
– Youth Books
– Children’s Books
– Reference Books

With so many choices, there are books for all age groups to enjoy.   Some notable authors that can be found in the Saint Luke’s Library are:

  • William Barclay
  • Dietrich Bonhoeffer
  • Walter Brueggemann
  • Frederick Buechner
  • Billy Graham
  • C.S. Lewis
  • Henri Nouwen
  • J.B. Phillips
  • N.T. Wright
  • Philip Yancey

The Library is always open when the church is open. Church members are invited to come and browse the many classifications and volumes available in the Library. Church members may check out a book at the desk where the card catalog and computer are located. Simply write your name on the book card found in the back of the book and enter the date that the book is due back. (A check-out period of one-month is suggested.) Place the book card in the front of the card holder next to the card catalog. Write the date that the book is due back on the “Due Back” slip behind the book pocket in the back of the book.  Please Note: Reference books may only be used in the Library; these books are not available for check out.

To visit Saint Luke’s library, go up the stairs found in the church lobby and take a right.  The library is located across from the church lobby balcony area.

Information overviews of the library are available and offered by volunteers who work in the library. Donations are always welcome.  For information, please contact:
