Interfaith Outreach Home (IOH) was founded in 1989 to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for homeless families. IOH helps create a stable living environment while strengthening homeless families through training and personal development. The mission of IOH is to combat homelessness by providing transitional housing and a range of holistic services to homeless families in order to help them become economically and emotionally self-sufficient members of the larger community.
Families in the IOH program live in small self-contained apartments located in Doraville, Georgia. Our goal is to empower families to take control of their lives and successfully return to the larger community through intensive counseling, life skills training, job preparation and job search, coaching, etc. The focus of the life skills training and coaching includes problem solving and decision-making, parenting, budgeting, and money management. Saint Luke’s has proudly supported IOH over the past ___ years with volunteers and financial support.
