The Bags ‘o Food Project is an on-going program to pack and distribute bags of food to people on the streets requesting help. Packing dates are typically the second Sunday of every month, immediately following the the 10:30 am worship service. You are invited to spend 30 minutes in the small conference room, located in the Administrative hallway, packing food into gallon bags. The packed bags will be made available for church members to keep in their cars to distribute to anyone asking for money or food.
How you can participate:
Pack bags on the second Sunday of every month following the 10:30 worship service.
Donate food. Select from the list of appropriate foods at the end of this article.
Write notes of encouragement and/or Scripture passages to be included in the bags.
Pick up the packages of food from the table in the lobby and give to those in need.
Pray for those who need this kind of assistance.
