Dear Saint Luke’s Youth Families.
Right now we would be gearing up for a summer filled with youth trips. Like everyone, we wish these trips were a reality and that we could travel together building community. We have heard from all our partners about their summer plans. They have all made hard decisions to not host youth groups this summer. For many of these partners, summer group travel is the mainstay of their work and supports the hard work they do for the rest of the year too.
We are privileged to be in a position to be offer full refunds for all of our participants, mostly thanks to the amazing Tartan Trot support. Our partner organizations are not in positions to do so and each one has offered different levels of refunds back to us. This ensures they keep their doors open so they can do the important work they do and so that we can continue to partner with them in the future.
So here’s our plan:
- We will offer you back all that you have paid for summer trips thus far. You can check your payments by logging into REALM.
- You have the option to help defer some of the costs too. These gifts are tax-deductible and will be reflected in your Saint Luke’s giving statement. We will make sure that money gets to the right organization.
- As we close out trips you will get an email saying your registration has been canceled. This is part of our automatic process in our registration system.
If we do not hear from you by Monday, June 22 we will refund the whole amount to you.
Of course, please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
