Just because we aren’t gathering in person, doesn’t mean our spiritual lives and faith development is on hold! Our adult Sunday School classes and many of our small groups will continue to meet via video conferencing. Also, check out our resources for Children and Youth.
Lent Daily Devotions Little did we know when we began the season of Lent that the struggle would be what it is today. As you find yourself with time and, perhaps more accurately, with more need to reflect on a daily basis. We are hopeful that in preparing our hearts and minds during these days leading to Easter, we will come to experience the hope and joy of the resurrection in new and powerful ways. Here are two online daily devotional options:
Narrative Lectionary Devotion – based on the passages we preach on Sundays.
Pittsburg Theological Seminary Devotion – available as email, PDF, or app version.
“Daily Check-In” Each day a member of our church staff will check-in on the Saint Luke’s Facebook and Instagram accounts for a brief reflection and prayer, and reminders, updates, and maybe even something witty. When you see these events going “Live,” we encourage you to join in!
Pastoral Prayers If you are in need of prayer, please contact one of the Pastors. We enjoy praying with you over the phone and via text or email!
Daily Prayer app The PCUSA offers a wonderful for a variety of devices, that we commend to you.
Books and Other Resources There are many books that you may find helpful in the days ahead, both about coping with life as we now know it and also for something interesting and good any time, and we will continue to add to this list as we come across them and invite you to recommend others!
